The Eligibility Requirements to Apply for a Citibank Credit Card:
- Your minimum age should be 21 years
- You need to be an inhabitant of the Philippines with a valid Philippine billing address
- Your annual income needs to be of P250,000 or higher
- You need to have a postpaid landline or postpaid mobile phone.
- You are required to have a Tax Identification Number (TIN) and SSS/GSIS No.
General Documents for Citibank Credit Card Application:
Photocopy of any of the below 2 valid IDs with photo and signature:
- Social Security System Photocard
- TIN ID
- Copy of Passport
- Copy of DL
- Copy of Company ID
For working people, any 2 of the below are required:
- Up-to-date ITR appropriately stamped as received by the BIR
- Original COEI copy representing status, service tenure, and remuneration breakdown
- W2 (BIR Form 2316)
- Recent salary slip (within last 3 months)
- Original Certificate of Employment
- Copy of your most recent credit card billing statement from other banks (if any)
For businessmen with belongings less than P15 million, 1 of the below is required:
- Latest AFS properly impressed as received by the BIR
- Latest ITR properly stamped as received by the BIR
- Photostat of your latest credit card billing statement from other banks (if any)
For businessmen with belongings more than P15 million, the following are required:
- Latest AFS with BIR or bank stamp
- Latest ITR with BIR or bank stamp (2 pages)
If you are a foreign national, any 1 of the below is required:
- VISA and Working Permit (with validity of 1 year and not terminated at time of application)
- Immigration Certificate of Residence (ICR)
- Alien Certificate of Registration (ACR – iCard type with permanent status)
Once Citibank approves your credit card application, you will receive the same at the address you indicated in the application form in a week.
There is a smallest payment of 5% of your entire purchases along with your special instalment plans for the month. You will need to pay it in full, and this contains the total fees and additional credit limit.
